FROM SUE

Privacy & Data Requests

Request access, correction or deletion of personal data, unsubscribe from kitchen notes, or clear saved information on your device.

You can contact From Sue about personal information we hold about you. We handle requests by email; this page does not submit a request or delete records on its own. You do not need a From Sue account.

Send a request

Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”. Tell us whether you want access, a correction, deletion, or to withdraw permission for a use of your data.

Send only the details needed to locate the records. Do not email passwords, payment details or identity documents with your first request. We may ask for proportionate confirmation that the information belongs to you before disclosing or changing it.

Unsubscribe or delete newsletter information

The unsubscribe link in a newsletter stops future marketing messages. You can also ask us at the address above. Unsubscribing and deleting a contact record are different requests: specify deletion if you want us to review removal of your newsletter data from Brevo.

We may need to retain a limited record of an unsubscribe or an unresolved request to respect your choices or meet an applicable obligation. If that affects your request, we will explain what we need to keep and why.

Remove information stored on your device

Saved recipes, ingredient checklist ticks and language preferences live in this browser. Clear site data for fromsue.com in your browser settings to remove them. This does not unsubscribe your email address or remove a server-side rating.

To stop Google Analytics, choose Analytics preferences and select “No thanks”. This removes our Google Analytics cookies and disables further collection from our integration. It does not erase past records that Google has already received; contact us about those separately. Aggregated statistics may not identify you or support individual deletion.

How we handle requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or erase data, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent. These rights can have exceptions. We will assess the request, ask for clarification if needed, and respond within the applicable legal deadline. Where UK or EU data protection rules apply, the usual response period is one month, subject to the permitted verification and extension rules.

If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain the reason and any available next steps. You may also complain to the data protection authority responsible for your location. Please tell us if our response has not addressed your concern.
