Copyright & Content Concerns
Ask about using From Sue content or report a concern about writing, photographs, ingredient boards, attribution or permission.
From Sue respects the rights of writers, photographers and other creators. If you believe a page uses your work without permission or needs an attribution correction, contact us with the details below.
Report a copyright concern
Email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright concern”. Include:
- Your name and a reply email address, and whether you own the work or represent its owner.
- A description of the original work and a link or other information that identifies it.
- The exact From Sue URLs and the material you are concerned about. A screenshot can help locate the passage or image.
- An explanation of the concern and the action you are requesting, such as a credit correction or removal.
- A statement that you believe the use is unauthorised, and that the information you provide is accurate. Include your typed name as a signature.
We may ask for clarification or evidence of authority before deciding what action to take. We will review the material and the available permission or source records, then respond to the sender. A report does not establish ownership on its own. Please do not submit misleading reports or use this route for a disagreement unrelated to copyright.
About DMCA notices
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a US legal framework with requirements that depend on the service and the circumstances. This contact process does not claim that From Sue has registered a designated DMCA agent or qualifies for a statutory safe harbour. If you need to send a formal legal notice, identify the applicable law and include the information it requires. We may need legal advice to assess it.
Sharing recipes and images
You may share a link to a recipe and ask us about permission to reuse material. Our Terms of Use explain the site's policy for excerpts and reproduction. A credit or backlink alone does not replace permission to republish a complete photograph, ingredient board or original article.
When requesting permission, include the material, where you want to publish it, the proposed use and any commercial context. We can only grant rights that we hold. This policy does not claim ownership over ideas, facts or material that belongs to someone else, or override exceptions provided by applicable law.
Other concerns
For a mistake in a recipe, follow our corrections process. For personal information or an image concerning your privacy, use Privacy & Data Requests. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the contact information you send with a report.
